The advantages of MDF : excellent powerless performance, uniform material and no dehydration problems. MDF performance is close to natural wood, but without the defects of natural wood. The surface is smooth and smooth, the material is fine, the edges are firm, and it is easy to shape, avoiding problems such as decay and insects. High flexural strength and impact strength. The MDF can be shaped like a sculpture. Disadvantages: its shortcomings and its advantages are as obvious, moisture resistance, poor grip ability, and difficult to fix. From the point of view of moisture resistance, if a medium density board is infused in water, it will expand like bread. However, it is not good to pay attention to the expansion too fast or too slow, it is likely to be high-density boards and low-density boards (the two types of sheets are now less useful due to obvious defects). The processing precision and process requirements are high, and the cost is high. Because of its high density, it must be cut with a precision saw and should not be processed at the decoration site. In foreign countries, MDF produces a good material for furniture, but since our standards for MDF are several times lower than international standards, the quality of MDF use in China needs to be improved. China's commonly used MDF has 3 PCT, 5 %, 9 %, 12 PCT, 15 PCT, 18 PCT, and 25 PCT specifications.
