Extrusion of composite LDPE polyester film 8220

One problem with polyester films is that they do not have heat sealability, and in use, composite LDPE films are needed to achieve heat sealability. Nowadays, dry compounding or wet compounding is generally used. The process is cumbersome, and in most cases organic solvents are required, which has potential environmental problems. If the LDPE film can be cast directly on the polyester film, this will not only achieve the heat sealability but also be environmentally friendly and will be a development direction. 8220 is a transparent polyester film that has been coated on one side. After coating, it improves the adhesion of the film to extrudates such as LDPE. Extrusion of the cast LDPE film, while increasing the ability of the PET film to block water.

8220 and LDPE and other resin layers with strong bonding, but also has all the properties of Mylar â—‹ R LB, including high tensile strength, good temperature resistance, the aromatic / odor barrier, high transparency and moisture resistance. Mainly used for composite structure with LDPE and other resins, both sides can be printed. Composite structures can be added with barrier layers and other heat-sealing inner layers as needed.
