This pre-made pouch was manufactured by Bemis Polyethylene Packaging Division PPD and consisted of a single-layer, low-density polyethylene film with a patented Hefty Slide-Rite slide zip closure. The attractively colored image on the packaging was printed by Bemis PPD in eight colors in flexographic printing at its factory in Terre Haute, central Indiana.
