Sidel launches new preform cleaning solution at the show

At the 2006 EMBALLAGE in Paris, Sidel Group exhibited its unique bottle design expertise accumulated over 25 years. The focus will be on new bottle types and a technological breakthrough, PredisTM, a revolutionary solution to the purification of preforms.

For 25 years, Sidel has spared no effort to successfully combine its ability to design innovative packaging with its production capabilities. This has led to the difficult goal of focusing on the limitations of technical and legal provisions on packaging production (eg, to reduce While reducing the bottle weight, the hygienic nature of the packaging, and the strength of the stacking, etc.), the company strives to meet the demand for innovation in an increasingly competitive market.

By combining the five professional equipment brands of SidelTM, SimonazziTM, GeboTM, AlfaTM and CermexTM, the Group began to design and install turnkey packaging production lines. In order to improve the shelf life of sensitive products sold in cold storage, Sidel has just designed a system called “PredisTM”, a patented dry cleaning technology for preforms. The system uses hydrogen peroxide steam to treat preforms, which is an environmentally friendly, economical, and easy-to-use solution.

The Combi blow-fill-seal three-in-one solution using the PredisTM system combines Sidel's bottle design technology with transfer, labeling and production line back-end equipment. It allows dairy producers and juice bottlers to easily ESL (extended shelf life) market.
