On September 15, 2006, the first batch of new products of anti-ultraviolet polyester (PET) bottle blanks developed by Sinopec Yizheng Chemical Fibre Company successfully produced on the Yipin Flakes Center's center. The first batch of trial-produced new products was put on the market.
Conventional PET material can only absorb ultraviolet rays with a wavelength of 315 nm or less. Bottles made with conventional bottle-level slicing have very poor UV resistance. After being stored for a long time, the nutritional content of beverages or edible oils in bottles will be affected. High-barrier PET bottle-level sections are required for beverages, oils, and other packaging. The annual growth rate of bottle PET consumption in China reached 24%, and the demand for high barrier PET increased by more than 30%. However, in the past, high-barrier polyester bottle slices were difficult to produce on their own, and the import dependency was as high as 80%. The IC bottle center and technical center add comonomer with UV absorption wavelength during the polymerization process, and the BG802U produced can effectively absorb a wider range of UV waves, with a wavelength range of 370nm~380nm, with better barrier properties. Sex, belonging to high-grade PET special materials, can better protect nutrients in beverages or edible oils and effectively extend its shelf life. The PET bottle injection molded by using the special bottle material has the characteristics of colorlessness, transparency and the like, and is suitable for the cold filling packaging of edible oils, medicines, beverages, etc., and can effectively reduce the production cost of the conventional coating method UV-resistant PET bottles.
