At the end of 2010, our company obtained the production and processing orders for Hebei Zhongyan Diamond (soft red) cigarette packets by participating in bidding. Subsequently, our company's process technicians studied and analyzed the process of the package from the aspects of material application, plate and mold making, equipment performance and process parameter selection, and process sequence arrangement.

1. Process characteristics

The material used for this cigarette packet box is a laser transfer silver cardboard with a quantity of 232g/m2. The material used for the small box is a laser transfer silver paper with a basis weight of 97g/m2. The printing process uses 5-color UV offset printing and UV glazing process. The post-processing process uses three hot stamping processes (two special anti-counterfeiting hot stamping, one holographic anti-counterfeiting hot stamping), and then the strip box is pressed to form concave and convex, die-cut forming, and the small box is used for small sheet cutting.

2. Process difficulties

(1) Due to the restriction of the hot stamping process, this cigarette pack cannot be used for on-line UV glazing, and UV glazing can only be performed after the completion of the three hot stamping processes. This is because the brightness and smoothness of the hot stampable UV varnish film which is suitable for hot stamping after UV glazing is not up to standard, even if its brightness and smoothness are up to standard, the requirements for electro-aluminum for hot stamping are required. It is also very high, that is, it is necessary to use special aluminum alloy suitable for hot stamping on the UV varnish film layer. As a result, the cost of the electrochemical aluminum is bound to rise, and the quality of the electrochemical aluminum is unstable at present, so the first on-line UV is adopted. The risk of post-light stamping process is too great to be feasible.

(2) The hot stamping process is complicated, and the paper moisture loss during the hot stamping process is serious, causing many “complications”.

(3) In order to highlight the multi-layer laser effect of holographic anti-counterfeiting positioning, the holographic anti-counterfeit positioning hot stamping method is required to be glazed when UV glazing is required, and must be hollowed out (allowing a stacking amount of ±0.3 mm), thereby increasing UV glazing. The difficulty of overprinting.

Problems caused by the use of ordinary hot stamping machines

According to past work experience, in order to facilitate the operation and simplify the hot stamping process, our company generally does not stamp two different kinds of anodized aluminum on the same hot stamping machine (except for the double station hot stamping machine). This is because in order to achieve the hot stamping of two kinds of anodized aluminum on the same hot stamping machine, it is necessary to ensure that the foil-cutting method and the hot-pressing plate installation of the two kinds of anodized aluminum cannot conflict, and also consider the special edition of the anodized aluminum. The direction of the pattern itself.

Process improvement measures and optimization effects

In order to solve the above quality problems, our company's process technicians have re-examined and timely adjusted this cigarette pack process, and arranged this cigarette pack on the double-station hot stamping machine to make the three hot stamping processes complete once. The specific improvement measures and optimization effects are as follows.

(1) According to the position of the hot stamping pattern on this cigarette pack, re-determine the way of foiling the anodized aluminum in the hot stamping process, and put the two kinds of anodized aluminum of “diamond sun and moon map” and “diamond gold floral” from the original landscape. Take the foil method and change the foil mode in the vertical direction (ie, the paper-feeding direction during hot stamping); communicate with the manufacturer of the electrochemical aluminum, suggesting that it change the two types of electrochemical aluminum patterns: "diamond sun and moon map" and "diamond gold floral" The layout direction of the text enables the pattern characters of the two kinds of anodized aluminum to be positively displayed in the longitudinal foil process; the "diamond sun and moon map" and the "diamond"

The gold-printed two-plate version of the anodized aluminum is installed on the same unit of the double-station hot stamping machine, and the hot stamping of the two kinds of anodized aluminum is completed at the same time.

(2) Holographic anti-counterfeiting positioning hot in the hot stamping process requires an optical scanning head equipped with a registration system, reading the positioning cursor next to each holographic pattern on the anodized aluminum to achieve the function of positioning registration, the current hot stamping of our company The machine is equipped with a registration system, which can perform holographic anti-counterfeiting and positioning, but its foil-feeding method is horizontal (including double-station hot stamping machine). Therefore, the holographic anti-counterfeiting positioning is separately arranged in the double-station hot stamping machine. On the unit, take the horizontal foil way.

(3) Through the process adjustment, all the three hot stamping processes are arranged on one double-station hot stamping machine, which can save 3 ordinary hot stamping machines, each device can save energy consumption of about 30 kW / hour, saving labor 2 people / day The production efficiency of the hot stamping process is only three times higher, thus ensuring product quality and delivery time.

(4) After the process adjustment, although the cigarette pack box and the small box occupy one double-station hot stamping machine respectively, the production efficiency is greatly improved, the occupation time is short, and 6 ordinary hot stamping machines are saved at the same time. , to ensure the delivery date of other products. After the process adjustment, the proofing was repeated. Due to the shortening of the production cycle and the hot stamping time, the original overprinting was inaccurate, the folding resistance was not up to standard, and many other quality problems were solved.

The packaging test machine of the tobacco factory; the energy consumption and labor cost of the product have also dropped drastically, and the finished product rate has reached more than 95%, which guarantees a certain profit margin. This order can increase the sales revenue of our company by about 35 million yuan per year.
