Many of them bought equipment for typing and drawing such as PC computers, and they typed and plotted. Some people were richer and bought HP6P printers to work. However, these people encountered certain problems at work: How to automatically colorize a four-color scanning pattern with different dots on a computer? When the screen printing plate making technology is not very skilled, or when the printing technology of the screen printing factory is not very high, the dots of the color separation films they need are large, how to separate them by computer automatic color separation settings What about the color separation?

The resolution required for screen printing computer screen color separation is generally 75dpi, 150dpi, 300dpi, 600dpi. The dot density generally required for the color separation sheet is relatively small, and the dots are relatively large. HP6P comes with print driver, in the print quality options, the resolution is only 600dpi high quality and toner can be two kinds of choice, with 600dpi resolution to automatically divide the computer's color separation, to meet a certain plate-making requirements . However, in some cases, if you need to use a computer with four-color scanning patterns with different dots to automatically separate the color, you can't meet the requirements by using 600dpi resolution to automatically separate the colors. When using the carbon-saving method to automatically separate colors, the separated color separation films are all gray and cannot be used for plate making. What methods can be adopted to enable the computer-separated color separation films to meet the needs of different levels of screen printing?

After many studies found that if you remove the HP6P's own print driver, and then install the HP98P's own print driver, and solve the problems brought by the Win98 print driver, it will be very good. The HP6P printer was used to electrically separate the color separation sheets used in the screen printing.

The first step: delete the HP6P original print driver, install the HP98P print driver with WIN98. There are two kinds of installation methods: one method is to install WIN98 on the machine, and let WIN98 automatically install the print driver for the HP6P printer; the second method is to use the mouse to click “start” when the computer has installed WIN98. Select "Settings" in the menu, click "Printer" in the "Settings", and click "HP LaserJet6P" in the displayed screen, then delete it with the delete command. Next, double-click the "Add Printer" icon, click on the screen prompts, click "Next" with the mouse, select "Local Printer", click "Next" with the mouse, select "HP" from "Manufacturer", select from "Printer" "HP LaserJet6P" and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

The second step: after drawing a picture in the drawing software CorelDraw or other drawing software into a complex scanning pattern, print settings, select "Properties" in the print settings, select "graphics" in the "Properties" screen The following screen will appear on the screen: In the "Graphic screen" select "Resolution", the resolution options are 600dpi, 300dpi, 150dpi, 75dpi. You can select the appropriate resolution according to the platemaking requirements, and then choose according to the other requirements of the plate making "Other options in the graphics screen", press "OK", in the "Options (T)", select "color separation", then select "print separation", and then select the color separation, press "OK" You can complete the automatic print separation. After the experiment, all printers with the "color separation" option in the original printer driver (such as HP6L's replacement product in the last year or two, HP6P's replacement product HP LaserJet2100TN, etc.) can perform the above operations.
