Raumkonzepte Peter Buchberger is a renowned interior design studio based in Munich, Germany. Peter Buchberger began his career as a Creative Consultant at Heino Stamm Architects in 1997 after completing his studies. Two years later, he launched his own firm, RKPB Interior Architecture, which quickly gained recognition for its unique approach to space and design.
Villa Grunwald
In the Villa Grunwald project, artwork seamlessly integrates with the interior, creating a harmonious and immersive environment. The focus isn’t just on individual pieces but on how they interact with wall designs, textiles, classic furniture, flooring, and ceilings. This results in a total work of art that is both visually stunning and perfectly suited for daily living.
Architektenvilla
The Architektenvilla is a puristic three-story home with plenty of exposed concrete and glass walls, maintaining its original character while introducing soft, sensual elements like modern textiles, lighting, and wall design. This balance creates a space that feels both strong and inviting.
Liebligstrasse
The two-story apartment was designed to showcase rare mid-century furniture. Since it was a rental property, the team focused on color rather than structural changes. The friendly silhouettes of the furniture create a sense of comfort and warmth without being overtly obvious.
Country House
Originally a flat-roof bungalow from 1967, this country house has undergone several renovations and expansions. It features a mix of materials, varied flooring, and a classic, feminine touch from its previous owner. The current design brings together old and new in a balanced and elegant way.
Stadtappartment München
Art plays a central role in the design of this Munich apartment. Inspired by artists like Piet Mondrian, Joan Miró, Wassily Kandinsky, Mark Rothko, and Donald Judd, the space features vibrant ceiling surfaces, a custom carpet, and a luxurious linen-silk blend from Peter Buchberger’s first collection. Every detail tells a story of creativity and refinement.
