Operating procedures for the use of fat analyzers

First, equipment operation:

1. After the sample is wrapped and weighed 2~5g, it is placed in the filter paper tube (the filter paper roll is wound up with the roll paper attached to the instrument), then placed in the filter paper holder, and the filter paper frame is sucked by the magnet;

(The sample should be mashed, finely ground, and evenly mixed; the sample is not easy to be pulverized or the fat content is high (more than 200g/kg), and must be pre-extracted first;)

2. Dry the constant weight extraction cup, then put 60ml of petroleum ether or anhydrous ether in the extraction cup, and then place the extraction cup on the heating plate;

3. Press the wrench to press the sealing gasket against the extraction cup, move the sliding bead, and place the filter paper cylinder in the extraction cup so that the sample is completely immersed in the solvent;

4. Turn on the power of the instrument, turn on the condensate, set the temperature and time required;

4.1, open the switch (power button)

4.2. After booting, press [OK] to enter the "Heating" menu.

4.3, set the temperature and time, press [OK] to start heating

4.4. After the set time is up, stop heating. If the temperature exceeds the set temperature of the instrument, the instrument will prompt over temperature.

4.5 After the power initialization is completed, press the direction key [ ] to move the cursor to “Settings”, press the [Enter] key, enter the “Settings” interface to set the sensor temperature,

Correct temperature, timing mode, timing point and arrival temperature.

4.6. In addition, during the heating process, press [Pause] to temporarily stop heating, press again to resume heating; press [Stop] to stop heating and return to function selection interface.

4.7. In normal operation, press [Back] to return to the operation interface of the instrument system. 5. After immersing for a certain period of time, move the sliding bead to raise the filter paper cylinder to the high position for extraction.

6. After the extraction, close the cock on the condensing tube, wait until the solvent has evaporated into the liquid storage tank, open the cock, let the solvent flow down, and rinse repeatedly several times to ensure no residual fat in the sample.

Finally, close the cock to evaporate all the solvent in the extraction cup into the liquid storage tank and stop heating. 7. When the heating plate and the extraction cup are cooled to room temperature, lift the wrench upwards, open the cock, and recover the solvent in the storage tank. ;

8. Take the extraction cup from the heating plate, place it in a dry box, dry the water and residual organic solvent, then transfer it to a desiccator for cooling, weigh it, and calculate the fat content;

9. Turn off the power and turn off the condensate.

Second, the daily maintenance of the instrument

1. The same set of extraction system should use the same solvent in a short time to prevent solvent cross-contamination;

2. Wipe the instrument clean with a damp cloth to avoid static electricity. Use a piece of gauze to remove all the gray marks from the heating plate to improve heat transfer.

3, usually pay attention to the cleanliness of the extraction cup, need to be cleaned regularly;

4. Confirm whether there are seaweed plants growing in the cooler. If necessary, clean them with 1mol/L hydrochloric acid or hypochlorous acid solvent.
