New ink connecting material successfully passed the test

A deep-processed product "ink binder" using rosin as raw material was successfully passed a preliminary test at a forestry company in Wuzhou, Guangxi.

It is understood that this product was developed by the company in cooperation with a company in Shantou, Guangdong. At present, viscosity, heptane solubility, and acidity have been tested, and researchers are working on viscous indicators. After successful testing of all indicators, it can produce 1200 tons of ink and 600 tons of pine resin annually. The products will be exported for color printing of newspapers.

Guangxi Wuzhou has a rich oleoresin resource, and the output of gum rosin is close to half of the country. However, at present, the rosin products sold or exported in Guangxi are still dominated by primary products. In recent years, Guangxi turpentine processing enterprises have intensified the development of deep processing products.

According to statistics, in the first half of this year, the total output of Guangxi Rosin was 19,266 tons, which was 5.1% lower than the same period of last year, and the output of deep-processed products of rosin and turpentine reached 6,198 tons, respectively 0.1% and 11.6% higher than the same period of last year.
