Iran’s Jeblitski Petrochemical Complex provided the market with a new PS(PS)-HIPS-3351.
The HIPS-3351 PS is a safe material for producing various types of packaging. The model PS produced at this consortium has the characteristics of low strength and low temperature melting, which can be deformed by low temperature melting and greatly reduce the volume of the vessel during production.
The new PS has a higher softening point, which can overcome the shortcomings of current packaging materials and utensils. At the production stage, there have been plans to use hydrogen peroxide for the production of general-purpose and impact-resistant PSs with the aim of increasing the output and quality of the joint venture. Jebski’s petrochemical complex has an annual production capacity of 95,000 tons. The existing production capacity can produce shock-resistant foam PS and ordinary PS. Currently, about 25,000 tons of ordinary PSs of various specifications are produced at the Jeblitski petrochemical complex.
