1, paper type "cheat"

If you have an A4 model printer installed in your computer, you may not be able to select A3 paper in Word 2000 applications or Other applications. To enable Word 2000 applications or other applications to support A3 format printing, you can artificially add a "virtual" printer that can print large format to "follow" these applications; here are the steps to implement the method :

First click the "Start" menu in the system desktop, and click "Settings" / "Printers and Faxes" command from the pop-up submenu. In the following printer list interface, double-click the "Add Printer" icon, in the In the Printer Add Wizard window that pops up, the Windows system will automatically search for printers already connected to the computer; since the actual printer is not installed, the wizard system naturally prompts that no valid printer will be found;

2, the model "cheat"

As we all know, the main printing modes of inkjet printers include three kinds, one is a color printing mode, one is a grayscale printing mode, and the other is a black and white printing mode. Under normal circumstances, the choice of print mode should be determined according to the type of print content, for example, to print a black and white photo, black and white print mode should be used. In fact, sometimes choosing the correct printing mode does not guarantee the best printing results. On the contrary, using other printing modes may produce unexpected printing effects. For example, an ink jet printer considers that only some text materials and forms are usually processed, so only one monochrome ink cartridge is installed. In order to prevent the print driver from constantly detecting the color ink cartridges, the author set the print mode to black and white in advance. Print mode. When you want to print a black-and-white photo recently, you will scan the black-and-white photos into the computer in the usual way. Then set the output precision of the printer to “High” and specify that you want to start printing the photos in black-and-white print mode. You can actually print the photos. Black and white photos do not have any sense of hierarchy at all, and the effect of photos is very different.

Later, the author re-set the print mode to "color print mode" and reprinted a black and white photo. The printed photos are very clear and the overall output is surprisingly good; the same printer, the same photo, the same Why is the gap between printed papers so great? In fact, the truth is very simple! When working in black-and-white printing mode, the computer simply converts all the image details in the photo to black and white. Only a small amount of grayscale components are added between the image transitions, so the printed effect will lack a clear layering effect. . When the color printing mode is selected in the black-and-white printer, the computer will add a lot of gray tone components to the color transition area of ​​the photo while processing the photo, thus avoiding the excessive accumulation of black ink in the local area, so the printing effect is also natural. It is better than black and white print mode.

3, ink "cheat"

Under normal circumstances, when the "ink out" light in the inkjet printer control panel flashes, the printer will prompt you to replace the ink in time to continue using the printer; in fact, at least about 15% of the ink remains in the print cartridge. They are usually used to protect inkjet printer heads. But if you are in a hurry to print materials and the printer's “Ink Out” signal light keeps flashing, you can use the following “cheat tricks” to borrow the residual ink in the ink cartridges. The following is a specific “spoofing” step. :

When the Ink Out signal light in the inkjet printer control panel flashes, you may wish to open the top cover of the inkjet printer, and then you can see the cartridge holder, which contains the print cartridge;

In order to remove the remaining ink cartridges from the cartridge holder, you need to press the "Reset" button on the printer's control panel, and then the cartridge cartridge will move right along the holder slider until it stops at the ink-replaceable position. At this time, you can open the cover of the ink cartridge again so that you can see the remaining ink cartridges.
