1. Project Overview

2.3 Customer Application Function Description

2.3.1 Process Requirements

(1) The batch control function of the AI-708H Flow Totalizer can be fully operated on the computer to charge all 3 reactors quantitatively. (2) Record the temperature of the reactor bottom and the kettle (using the AI-518 temperature controller) and the reaction of the polyurethane in real time. (3) Record and save all data for future inquiry. (4) Real-time data provisioning time query. The reactor history data for the reactor will provide "kettle number" and "lot number" queries. (5) Provide real-time curve, real-time alarm and alarm limit modification. (6) Provide operating authority and settings to prevent misoperation.

2.3.2 Operation Description:

How to operate the AI-708H Flow Totalizer on the software for the quantitative control of the feeding of the kettle. When the communication status of the AI-708H meter indicates “communication is normal”, the meter and computer are connected properly. (1) Batch control data reset in the batch console resets the set value data of the AI-708H instrument and resets the feed relay to initialize the instrument. (2) Use the digital control function of the AI-301M module to open the high-pressure electric ball valve of the kettle so that the pipeline will be open and the valve will turn green. In the middle yellow box, there will be corresponding data display in the operation bar, as well as a "Reaction Start" button.

(3) Immediately after the completion of feeding, click "Reaction Start" and the database will record the current feeding data and reaction start time of the kettle. The data will be displayed on the reactor at the same time and the "End of Reaction" button will appear. (4) If necessary, please click "Batch Control Data Reset" to reset the data of the batch control table (AI-708H) to zero. The small valve opens the high pressure electric ball valve of the kettle and then sets the "batch control given value". Then click on "Feeding."

(5) After the feeding is completed, click the button “Feeding Records” to record the data for re-feeding. (6) Immediately after the completion, click "End of Reaction" to record the time at which the reaction ends, so that the data curve can be queried later. One polyurethane resin production to this kettle is over.

3. Conclusion
