Inspired by vintage 19th-century diamond brooches from the brand’s archives, the "Victorian Princess Heart Jewelry Table" reinterprets the classic two-heart design with a modern twist. This exquisite timepiece is adorned with naturally bright red rubies, carefully selected and cut using Backes & Strauss’s signature ideal cut technique. The result is a radiant sparkle that catches the light with every movement.

The rare Vivid Red rubies used in this collection were sourced over several months, ensuring perfection in both color and cut. Each ruby underwent meticulous polishing to maintain its original brilliance, and due to the precision required, each lost approximately 58 to 62 carats of rough material during the cutting process. The entire gemstone inlay, cutting, and polishing process involved five top jewelers working for around 50 days — totaling approximately 2,000 hours of craftsmanship.
